The Mini PCIe Intel I210 SFP Network Adapter is specially designed to setup a long-distance link with a file server or a remote workstation. With a Multi-mode Gigabit 1000Base-SX transceiver, the connection is up to 500-meter. With a Single Mode Gigabit 1000Base-LX / WDM transceiver, the connection is up to 10km.
